Seller Account Manager
Position: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid (Bengaluru, India)
Type: Internship-to-Hire

Job Summary
Thotfy is India’s handmade marketplace, empowering artisans, hobbyists, and small creators to sell handcrafted products without traditional business barriers. As a Seller Account Manager, you will be the bridge between Thotfy and its sellers—supporting them from onboarding through ongoing sales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, problem-solving, and being part of a growing creator-first platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential sellers across India via online research, social media, and referrals.
- Guide new sellers through onboarding, account setup, and product listing on the Thotfy platform.
- Maintain constant communication with sellers to provide listing suggestions, catalog feedback, and tips for improving visibility and conversion.
- Monitor seller order flow—ensuring orders are accepted, packed, shipped, and delivered on time.
- Follow up with sellers and buyers post-delivery to ensure a smooth experience and encourage positive reviews.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts, seller interactions, and listing improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (tech, customer support, marketing) to resolve seller issues and share seller insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, communication tools (WhatsApp, email), and dashboards.
- Prior experience in sales, marketplace operations, or account management is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll play a key role in amplifying Thotfy’s digital presence — from creating engaging content to helping grow our online community of creators and customers. This internship is perfect for someone who’s creative, curious about marketing trends, and eager to learn how digital storytelling builds real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
- Create, edit, and schedule engaging content: posts, carousels, reels, and stories tailored for our audience.
- Support community engagement — reply to comments/DMs, onboard creators, and grow relationships with artisans.
- Run basic influencer outreach and coordinate micro-collaborations and giveaways.
- Help with on-page SEO tasks: keyword research, meta updates, and content briefs.
- Track campaign metrics, prepare weekly performance reports, and propose optimizations based on data.
- Contribute creative ideas for content series, themes, and growth experiments (A/B tests, hooks, captions).
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- Strong written communication — able to write clear, friendly, and on-brand copy.
- Basic familiarity with social platforms and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite).
- Comfortable working with simple analytics (engagement, reach, basic KPI tracking).
- Self-starter attitude, good time-management, and willingness to learn fast in a startup environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating short-form video content (Reels/Shorts) and understanding of trending formats/hook styles.
- Basic SEO knowledge and exposure to tools like Google Search Console or basic keyword research.
- Familiarity with content calendars and scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, or similar).
- Experience with simple graphic editing or motion templates (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or CapCut).
- Passion for handcrafted products, creator economy, or small-biz empowerment.
Content Writer

Thotfy is India’s next big handcrafted marketplace, bringing together artisans, hobbyists, and small creators to showcase their handmade products to a wider audience. As a Content Writer at Thotfy, you’ll play a key role in telling their stories — crafting engaging content that highlights creativity, culture, and craftsmanship.
You’ll collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to create blogs, product descriptions, and social media content that not only engages readers but also strengthens Thotfy’s voice as India’s most authentic handmade community.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, plan, and write SEO-optimized blog posts and articles related to handmade crafts and lifestyle
- Create engaging product descriptions, headlines, and marketing copies for Thotfy.com
- Collaborate with the design and SEO teams to align content with marketing campaigns
- Proofread and edit content to maintain consistency, tone, and clarity
- Develop social media captions, newsletters, and storytelling content for artisans
- Understand audience intent and craft content that drives engagement and conversion
- Stay updated on content trends, storytelling techniques, and industry insights
Qualifications
- Excellent command of written English and grammar
- Ability to write clear, compelling, and creative content
- Basic understanding of SEO writing principles
- Portfolio or sample work demonstrating previous writing experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience in writing for eCommerce, lifestyle, or creative industries
- Knowledge of keyword research and content optimization tools
