I chose the auspicious peacock motif as a symbol of "jaya" (victory)—a beautiful reminder that all internal and external challenges can be overcome with faith. Crafted for longevity, these bead curtains are true heirloom pieces designed to be passed down through generations.

Materials & Craftsmanship:

Beads: Approximately 38,000 high-quality 6mm glass beads in classic white and black colors.

Strands: 130 individual strands, each featuring 290 beads.

Stringing: Strung securely using durable, high-quality nylon fishing line.

Hassle-Free Design & Installation:

Each strand is safely secured to a sturdy 1-inch diameter wooden dowel, which keeps the intricate peacock picture perfectly aligned. This ensures smooth passage—the curtain moves easily with you and falls right back into its beautiful formation. The standard 1-inch dowel size ensures a very smooth, hassle-free installation into any common curtain brackets.

1. Is the bead curtain available in different colors?

Currently, the designs are crafted exclusively in classic black and white. However, you can opt for transparent beads for the background to create a lighter look. For custom color inquiries, please get in touch.

2. Are there other designs available?

Yes! While I don’t have physical samples of every pattern, I can adapt the designs shown in the last image into a bead curtain. Since these are custom-made, I invite you to visualize how these patterns would transform your specific space. If you have a personal design preference that you would like to be made into a bead curtain, I can let you know it's do-ability after checking. Kindly please get in touch. 

3. Can it be customized to a specific size?

Yes, absolutely. While the standard curtain is crafted for a 3ft x 7ft doorway, I can tailor-make a piece to fit your specific requirement. Please note that custom dimensions may incur an additional curation fee to cover the design adjustments and extra beads required for your unique space. 

4. Why is there a 4-week lead time?

Each pixel glass bead curtain is a bespoke "made-to-order" piece. Once your order is placed, I spend the first three weeks sourcing premium supplies and meticulously hand-assembling the curtain. The final week is dedicated to secure packaging and shipping to your location.

5. Will I be updated on the progress?

Absolutely. I believe in transparency. At the end of every week, you will receive photo and video updates via email and WhatsApp so you can watch your curtain come to life.

6. Why is the curtain priced at Rs. 20,000?

This is an artisan product not found in the domestic market. Unlike mass-produced curtains, this piece features 37,700 individual glass beads, reviving a "lost art" of slow, intentional craft. When compared to international markets, this piece is priced very fairly for the level of detail and labor involved.

7. How much does the curtain weigh?

The curtain itself weighs approximately 11kg. To ensure it reaches you safely, the total shipping weight (including protective packaging) maybe between 12–13kg.

8. Can standard curtain brackets hold the weight?

Yes. We recommend using standard steel brackets designed for a 1-inch dowel. Despite the weight, the installation is straightforward and hassle-free.

9. Can I walk through the curtain? Will it alter the strands and disturb the visual appearance?

The curtain is designed for both utility and beauty. You can easily pass through—even while carrying large items—without worry. The strands are tightly secured to the wooden dowel to ensure they remain perfectly aligned and the design is always clear. 

10. What is the expected lifespan of the curtain?

This is an heirloom-quality product designed to last over 100 years. While it is built for indoor use, its glass and wood components makes it incredibly durable. Please note that if used outdoors or on a porch, weather exposure may affect its longevity.

11. What is your cancellation, return, and refund policy?
